In this radio interview, Sen. Franklin Drilon discusses P33.3B parked funds with Phil. International Trading Corp. “Nakabinbin ang pera ng pamahalaan sa PITC. Yung perang binigay ng mga gov’t agencies sa kanila pambili ng gamit, ino-obligate o tinatabi na nila: pwede na gamitin anytime at hindi kailangan ibalik sa treasury kahit hindi naman ginamit. Pera yan ng pamahalaan at dapat ibalik sa gobyerno. Yung interes na kinita ng pera ay sa gobyerno at hindi kanila. Nakaparada lang yung pera, lumalaki pa dahil sa interest. Baka yumayaman na ang mga parking attendant diyan.”

Public servant and lawmaker Franklin M. Drilon has been serving Filipinos and the country since 1986.

Upon the opening of the 16th Congress, Drilon was elected, for the fourth time, to the third highest position in the land, the Senate Presidency – a post he had previously held from April to November 2000, from July 2001 to June 2004, and from July 2004 to June 2006.
